Message	Michelin makes both expensive good tires and cheap crappy tires. They make the cheap tires in large sizes as well as small sizes for different car manufacturer's requirements. Right now large calipers are the style. This doesn't necessarily make them better, just probably heavier. Calipers made for the requirements of SUVs are probably not the best for a sports car. They may be too heavy and not have good heat dissipation, stiffness, and many other qualities that make good brakes for a sports car. They may look similar to GTR calipers but be completely different. The GTR calipers are most certainly chosen in part by the large caliper style, and Nissan's budget. You probably get what you pay for.
